Established in 1952
The main goal of the Finnish Association for Child and Family Guidance is
to support the well-being of families and act as an expert organization in
education and family guidance. The Association organizes training and
lectures, maintains development activity, conducts research on issues
related to education and family guidance, provides information on these
issues, gives statements and drafts motions.
The Association relays information on education and family guidance to its
members and other cooperating partners. The activities of the Association
also include influencing, information, training and development work. The
Association acts as the national expert organization in education and
family guidance and cooperates with other child protection organizations
to influence legislative development and the conditions of children and
their families. The Association has its own development and other projects
with related training activity.
Members: approximately 20 organisational members, 300 private members.
